This month I’m sharing a birthday card.
Just because this is a Valentine themed assortment doesn’t mean you can’t use it for something else…..
This is a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ layered card. You can see all the layers and I added just a touch of my signature mulberry paper behind the sentiment and the main panel. I added several Open Roses under the sentiment.
For a video tutorial on how I use mulberry paper, please click HERE.
My card is topped off with a pretty bi-color double loop bow created on my Bow-it-All V3.0 Tool using two ribbons from the January Ribbon Club Assortment from Really Reasonable Ribbon. The bow is topped off with a Pearl Heart Shaped Bead.

Now for my headband of the month:
This headband was created on a 1/2″ White Plastic Headband using the 3/8″ Random Hearts on Poppy Red Satin Ribbon from the December Ribbon Club Assortment, and I pulled in a solid White Double-faced Satin for contrast. I just love the contrast between the white and poppy red heart satin.

Always a delight to stop by each month for the Ribbon Hop– I look forward to see the card layout and the headband you created Bonnie – I just love those double bows – I really need to get some made and use them as I have the Bow it All maker– the assortment this month is so fabulous – love that Kiss ribbon a lot – your card layout is always so much fun in the different colors and sentiment used — fabulous work – thanks for sharing and have a blessed day!
I really L*O*V*E the headband!! It’s simply perfect with these ribbons and even with the heart pattern, I think it could be worn any time of the year. The card is lovely, too and you always make the prettiest double bows – the pearl bead heart is sweet perfection, too. The red, white & black color combo is my favorite for Valentine cards (and now February birthdays!! lol).
Your bows are so picture perfect on your cards. (I am going to master those double bows yet.) As always your headband creations are a treat to behold. I definitely want the kiss ribbon for my husbands Valentine card. I always adore your whimsical mulberry layers on your card, which is another spectacular creation – visually so very appealing.
This is a magnificent collection of ribbons, and your projects make them shine! I always enjoy seeing your work!
Wonderful card, love the background! Thanks for playing at Through The Craftroom
