Welcome to the February Craft Hoarders Anonymous Blog Hop!
You should be coming from Donna’s Blog. After visiting with me, hop on over to Wendi’s Blog next. To start at the beginning of the hop, and for a full list of Blogger’s, go to Gloria’s Blog.
This month I will share the shameful secret of my handmade (by me) marbled paper stash. I think my reason for hoarding crafty stuff is partly because some stuff is just so pretty, you don’t want to use it because then it will be gone. I made this paper at the Art Continuum in Ohio in either 1999 or 2000. Yup, it’s over 15 years old. I don’t even remember exactly how I made it. I think there was some sort of gel paints involved and on the turquoise one I can see that we textured with plastic wrap.
I decided after 15 years I could part with a small 4″ x 6″ piece of it. I can’t promise to use the rest though because, well, then it will be gone!
I kept this card relatively simple because I really wanted to showcase the pretty marbled paper. But I was able to work some beautiful handmade roses in. I created the roses with the Small and Medium Tea Rose dies from Cheery Lynn Designs.
The bow was created using 5/8″ Pearl Pink Diamond Satin Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon. It was created on my Bow-it-All V2.0 Tool.

Bonnie, this is one stunning card! Wowsers! Your gorgeous flowers look just like the blossoms on the pink camellia bush in my back yard.
I loved this card!!! Beautiful!
Bonnie you make me laugh and you make me happy with your very pretty bows. I am still laughing about your shameful secret. I thought that paper was so beautiful when I first glanced at the card. I can see why you don't want to use it. I look at my hoarding stash , smile a lot and put it back in the airtight container. |I just can't cut some of it yet. Also as far as I'm concerned we don't see enough bows or ribbon. The flowers are also very pretty. Thank you so much for joining our 219th challenge at Word Art Wednesday. Your creation is inspiring and very much appreciated. Blessings, Carole

Bonnie, OMG your paper is beautiful!!!! I can defiantly understand it was just to pretty to use. I guess that's why we are on the "Hoarders Anonymous" team!!!! Love the flowers and your bows are to die for. I need to practice.
Stunning card! And that bow and flowers…oh la la. I also confess to having a hoard of (made by me) marbled paper! I used glossy paper and then dragged it through shaving cream that had re-inker in it! I even hosted all the neighborhood kids to come over and make some of it! Back in….1999 or so!
What a wonderful creation! Those flowers are gorgeous. Thanks so much for playing with us at PDE Linky Party. Hope to see you again soon 🙂
