Welcome to the February Craft Hoarders Anonymous Blog Hop!

You should be coming from Donna’s Blog.  After visiting with me, hop on over to Wendi’s Blog next.  To start at the beginning of the hop, and for a full list of Blogger’s, go to Gloria’s Blog.
This month I will share the shameful secret of my handmade (by me) marbled paper stash.  I think my reason for hoarding crafty stuff is partly because some stuff is just so pretty, you don’t want to use it because then it will be gone.  I made this paper at the Art Continuum in Ohio in either 1999 or 2000.  Yup, it’s over 15 years old.  I don’t even remember exactly how I made it.  I think there was some sort of gel paints involved and on the turquoise one I can see that we textured with plastic wrap.
I decided after 15 years I could part with a small 4″ x 6″ piece of it.  I can’t promise to use the rest though because, well, then it will be gone!
I kept this card relatively simple because I really wanted to showcase the pretty marbled paper.  But I was able to work some beautiful handmade roses in.  I created the roses with the Small and Medium Tea Rose dies from Cheery Lynn Designs.
The bow was created using 5/8″ Pearl Pink Diamond Satin Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  It was created on my Bow-it-All V2.0 Tool.
