This month I’m sharing a rustic holiday greeting card.
This is a 5-1/2″ square basic layered card with die cuts. You can see all the layers and I added my signature mulberry paper layer behind the main panel. Along with the bow, I used a layered bit of ribbon behind the main panel. I love that look. That’s a great way to use ribbon and still keep the card flat for mailing. You could omit the bow from this card if you wanted a flatter design for mailing.

My card is topped off with a pretty double loop bow created on my Bow-it-All V3.0 Tool using the pretty plaid ribbon from the December Ribbon Club Assortment from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

This headband was created on a 1/2″ Ivory Plastic Headband using the 3/8″ pinecone print ribbon from the December Ribbon Club Assortment along with 3/8″ brown double faced satin ribbon.

Your use of mulberry paper is so spectacular; it just intrigues me. I am going to give it a try soon. Love the ribbon choices. (Take a close look at the deer on the ribbon.) Not only is your card heavenly but those headbands you make are just plain gorgeous. I envy the recipients of them. Look forward to seeing your work in 2021!!!
Ughhh. Head smack! I put the center ribbon on UPSIDE DOWN!! hahaha I’m going to blame it on the stress of the season. I didn’t even notice. I wonder if anyone but you saw that. You are very observant. I think I suffer from brain fog. Hehehehe. Worst part is, I already sent it out to someone. Hopefully they won’t notice. 😐
