This month I’m sharing a rustic holiday greeting card.
This is a 5-1/2″ square basic layered card with die cuts. You can see all the layers and I added my signature mulberry paper layer behind the main panel. Along with the bow, I used a layered bit of ribbon behind the main panel. I love that look. That’s a great way to use ribbon and still keep the card flat for mailing. You could omit the bow from this card if you wanted a flatter design for mailing.

My card is topped off with a pretty double loop bow created on my Bow-it-All V3.0 Tool using the pretty plaid ribbon from the December Ribbon Club Assortment from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

This is an adorable card – deer are one of my favorites!
A very fabulous head band – and that card is over the moon delicious – with mulberry paper and the deer and scene – the ribbon is luscious!! Love the banners and bow — stunning work Bonnie!
Thanks for the inspiration. Love the torn paper, who needs those fancy dies? I like that a lot and will remember to try. Thanks again for sharing.
Delightful projects! The headband is one I’d want for this winter season…and since my family loves deer, I know this card would be a delight for any of them to receive. The ribbon adds a special touch. tfs-stay well.
Great die-cut and scene to go with this ribbon, and of course, your headband turned out fabulous.
Love this ribbon collection and all the cards it has inspired. I have a really hard time creating cards that are flat…always end up having to pay lots of extra postage! Thanks for demonstrating that flat cards are possible! That bow will still look beautiful after being in the envelope. Beautiful headband…nice to see how the pinecones are featured as the ribbon wraps around the band…well done!
What a fun card! The two ribbons you used really drew my eye and I thought of a deer card right away. And I love how you tore the paper to make your layers; I’ve always loved that look. Your headband is awesome!! Have a very Merry Christmas!!
Absolutely FAB work, Bonnie. That headband is amazing, and the card is divine as well. LOVE this assortment SO much.
Wonderful rustic scene with the deer and pretty head band.
