Welcome to the October Craft Hoarders Anonymous Blog Hop!
I know it’s been a while. We will be hopping quarterly now, so you will see us in October, January, April, and July.
You should be coming from Gloria’s Blog. After visiting with me, hop on over to Tracey’s Blog next. To start at the beginning of the hop, and for a full blog hop list, go to Gloria’s Blog.
Well folks, it’s October and you know what that means….. If you are making your own holiday greeting cards, it’s time to get started. (If only I could follow my own advice!!). I do have one card which I’m sharing today.
This card is a combination of new and hoarded crafty goodies. My die is the new Fancy Reindeer Set from Cheery Lynn Designs which is a great set for building scenes. My hoarded item is my precious Mulberry Paper and I have to admit that I add more mulberry paper to my stash every now and then. This is white mulberry paper with gold tinsel inclusion.

In order to get you going on your own holiday cards, I’m giving away a Really Reasonable Ribbon October Ribbon Club Assortment to one random person who comments on this post.
*Prize is being offered only to those with US shipping addresses*
Each Monthly Ribbon Club Assortment contains a holiday or color themed assortment of ribbon. This month you will receive 9 styles and a total of 17 yards of ribbon or trim. What a fun way to build your ribbon stash and try new ribbon styles.
My bow today was made on my Bow-it-All V3.0 using Turftan Brown and Antique Gold Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon. I added a few stands of Natural Burlap String behind the bow for a more rustic look.

Oh, you inspire me to get out of Mulberry hoard! Love your gorgeous card and especially that deer die cut! So want to start making cards right now, but not until I finish the hop!!! LOL!!
Every time I see you use mulberry paper I say to myself, “Self, get out your mulberry paper.” And then I totally forget about it until next time! This is STUNNING. I love all the layers and that fab bow and the die cut is amazing, too!
Hi Bonnie I jus love this card it has a big presence to it. I love your use of mulberry paper on your cards. I think it gives the edges of your card a soft & delicate look. Like putting cheese cloth over a camera lens. I have a stash myself and will have to give your edging technique a try. I’ll see at the RRR hop later tfs.
Great scene with this fabulous deer. I like the bow and your use of mulberry paper.
