Welcome to the October Craft Hoarders Anonymous Blog Hop!
I know it’s been a while. We will be hopping quarterly now, so you will see us in October, January, April, and July.
You should be coming from Gloria’s Blog. After visiting with me, hop on over to Tracey’s Blog next. To start at the beginning of the hop, and for a full blog hop list, go to Gloria’s Blog.
Well folks, it’s October and you know what that means….. If you are making your own holiday greeting cards, it’s time to get started. (If only I could follow my own advice!!). I do have one card which I’m sharing today.
This card is a combination of new and hoarded crafty goodies. My die is the new Fancy Reindeer Set from Cheery Lynn Designs which is a great set for building scenes. My hoarded item is my precious Mulberry Paper and I have to admit that I add more mulberry paper to my stash every now and then. This is white mulberry paper with gold tinsel inclusion.

In order to get you going on your own holiday cards, I’m giving away a Really Reasonable Ribbon October Ribbon Club Assortment to one random person who comments on this post.
*Prize is being offered only to those with US shipping addresses*
Each Monthly Ribbon Club Assortment contains a holiday or color themed assortment of ribbon. This month you will receive 9 styles and a total of 17 yards of ribbon or trim. What a fun way to build your ribbon stash and try new ribbon styles.
My bow today was made on my Bow-it-All V3.0 using Turftan Brown and Antique Gold Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon. I added a few stands of Natural Burlap String behind the bow for a more rustic look.

Love the scene you created on this card, Bonnie! That two color bow is AMAZING!!
Bonnie, love your card! Love all the details on the deer and your ribbon tying is so nice.
So beautiful majestic, and serene. Love it!
What a sophisticated card! Love all your attention to detail. No wonder you start making cards in October!! That must have take you a while to make. Beautiful!
Your card is fabulous! I have quite a few packs of mulberry paper in my stash, but I don’t think I have any white (it’s gorgeous!)
Love the card. I went over to your you tube and watched the excellent video on Mulberry paper feathering. Can’t wait to try it. Thanks so much.
Thanks so much Jean and I’m so glad you liked the video as well. I sure hope you’ll give it a try. It add such a nice look to cards.
Pretty details on your card! Love the scene you created! Beautiful deer die!
Great card. Thanks for the video. Of course, I still have mulberry paper (if only I can locate it).
I love your bow. Nice die cut. CheeryLynn dies I love.
I had my husband make me a bow maker a few years ago from an older long bow maker board that I found in goodwill. Had him drill holes every inch across and move my pegs to make my bows. Found another one, I can see I will have him drill smaller holes and find some smaller pegs now. Thank you for a great card.
Oh my, Bonnie! This is simply stunning! The effect of the torn mulberry paper really makes the card. I love the embossed deer and as always, your bow is perfect!
I’ve never used a bow like this on a card but I just love it! Your card uses great colors and ideas. I never think to use my mulberry paper as a layer but look how great it looks on your card! I am thinking maybe I don’t have to have a mountain die if I can tear card stock or paper as effectively as you did, LOL! TFS! And thanks for the chance to win these amazing things! Hugs! kReN
Wonderful bow and a great card. Thanks for sharing.
LOVE the scene you created – that mulberry paper is beautiful! Thanks so much for joining us this week at Christmas Card Challenges.
I love this card! Where did you get the Mulberry paper?
Thanks so much Lisa. I’ve had mulberry paper in my stash forever and if you watch the video I linked to in my post you will see an online source for great mulberry paper as well. Thanks so much for stopping by and happy crafting!
So awesome! I just love all the texture and that bow. Thanks for sharing at The Christmas Card Challenges!
