This month I’m sharing a birthday card I made for a special friend.
This is a 6-1/2″ x 4-3/4″ layered card with a layered die cut. You can see all the layers and I added my signature mulberry paper layer behind both the main panel and the panel behind the sentiment. I added several Mulberry Paper Roses in a variety of sizes under the sentiment. My sentiment is from my Birthday Greetings II Digital Stamp Set and the background is my Random Circles Overlay which I cut on my Silhouette machine. Both of these items are 50% off for a limited time!

My card is topped off with a pretty double loop bow created on my Bow-it-All V3.0 Tool using two ribbons from the July Ribbon Club Assortment from Really Reasonable Ribbon. The bow is topped off with a 13mm Heart Pearl Bead.

Okay, I’m now thinking you must make your ribbons in colors that match your cardstock! LOL They look so perfectly matched. Your card is so pretty. And the headband is awesome – I’m a fan of polka dots on anything! lol
Hahaha Becca. Your comment made me laugh. If you could see how much cardstock I have hoarded, you’d laugh. AND, I sometimes still have trouble finding the right cardstock color. Just got lucky this time. 🙂 Happy crafting!
Very pretty, Bonnie! I love the strip of designer paper across the ribbon. That is such an elevating element!
