My card today features the wonderful Merry Christmas Pine and Partridge Sentiment and the wonderful Poinsettia Strip die.
I cut my sentiment twice in a green Distress Ink Paper I created and then twice in red cardstock. I backed all the cardstock with Stick It Adhesive before I cut it so it would be easy to adhere. I selected the areas I wanted to show in red and carefully cut away the rest before adhering the layers. By adding two layers of red, it gives the sentiment more depth.
If you are making lots of cards assembly line fashion, this sentiment looks lovely in one color too which will speed up production.
