Today I’m showcasing the new ‘This Season’ set from Graciellie Design which includes two lovely images along with 5 sentiments perfect for this time of year. The great thing about this set is that all you need to do is change up the color palette, and the flower image and sentiments can really work for any season.
I opened my Microsoft Publisher program and dropped some guide lines to the size I wanted for the center of my card and then resized and added the image and sentiment and positioned them the way I wanted them. I then printed this panel out on some textured cream cardstock. I colored my image with Prismacolor pencils.
My background paper was created using Distress and Distress Oxide inks in Autumn colors and I love the way it turned out.
I always tend to make more of the Distress paper than I need, so I carried it over to the inside of the card and used another sentiment from the set. The fuzzy paper on the bottom layer is natural mulberry paper.
I topped my card off with a pretty bi-color bow created on my Bow-it-All V3.0 tool using some of the ribbons from the August Ribbon Club Assortment from Really Reasonable Ribbon. The center of the bow is topped off with a pretty Antique Vintage Flower Charm. I also ran some ribbons across the center of the card under the image panel.
The August Autumn Harvest Ribbon Assortment is available through the end of September at Really Reasonable Ribbon.
