As you can see, I went full-out ‘Fall’ with my project today. But really, who can resist the gorgeous colors of autumn. This gorgeous Acorn & Leaves die set is my absolute favorite because there are so many possibilities with leaf dies. I could make a dozen different cards with this die set and still not be tired of it!
B901 Acorn & Leaves *NEW*
FRM144 Chicken Wire Frame
M7 Oval Classic Small Silver Stacker
XM7 Oval
The paper on the far right was created by sponging the tan colors on to cream cardstock and spritzing with water. This piece became my background. I adhered Stick It Adhesive to the back of a piece of brown cardstock and cut the chicken wire frame die. I then adhered that to my background paper and trimmed to fit.
I cut a few of each leaf from each paper and played around with different layering options until I had a look that I liked. When you do this, it often helps to snap a photo of what you like with your phone before you take it back apart to glue it down. I then cut my acorn in kraft and shimmer brown cardstock. I cut the cap part off of the brown and glued it to the top of the acorn and then centered that in the middle of my leaf cluster.I finished my card off with a festive bi-color bow created on my Bow-it-All V3.0 Tool using two of the ribbons from the August Ribbon Club Assortment from Really Reasonable Ribbon. The center of the bow is adorned with a pretty Antique Bronze Vintage Flower Charm.
