Today I have a very purple-y ‘Thinking of You’ card to share featuring some gorgeous dies from Cheery Lynn Designs and pretty ribbon and embellishments from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  What a great combination!

I just LOVE purple, don’t you?  Add a little green for contrast and oh-la-la.

If you LOVE purple, the July ‘Perfectly Purple’ Ribbon Club Assortment is going to knock your socks off!!

The July assortment has 9 styles and a total of 18 yards of ribbon.  Each monthly assortment is a color or holiday themed assortment of ribbon.  What a fun way to build your ribbon stash and try new ribbon styles.

My card measures 5-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ and I built a few layers including a pretty layer at the bottom using white mulberry paper.  I topped that with purple and green and then a piece of Distress Ink paper I made in purple with a little green and layered the Felicity Doily on that.

I then added a strip of ribbon across the center and topped that with my sentiment circle. For the bottom half of my card, I created 3 gorgeous flowers using the Black Eyed Susan Strip.  I cut the flowers out of the same Distress Ink paper and used a plum color for the centers.  I created a bed of greenery using the foliage dies from the Floral Bouquet kit and added the flowers on top of that.

This flower looks so complicated, but is in fact one of the easier flowers to make.  I will include my video tutorial below.

My bi-color bow was created on my Bow-it-All V3.0 Tool using two of the ribbons in the July Perfectly Purple Ribbon Club Assortment from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I added a Heart Shape Pearl Embellishment to the center of the bow and two 10mm Purple Flatback Resin pieces in the upper corners of my card.
