Just Because Card

Hi friends. Today I’m sharing a pretty all-occasion card featuring the pretty Mehndi Botanicals 2 die set from Cheery Lynn Designs and the pretty Aqua and Coral April Ribbon Club Assortment from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

I created my papers using a variety of distress ink colors since I didn’t have design paper colors I wanted to use.

My card base is 4-3/4″ x 6-1/2″.  I created a few layers topped off with the pretty distress ink paper.  This was topped with the Concentric Circles Mesh Border die that I ran down the middle.

I then cut the flower pieces and shaped them a bit with a stylus and foam pad to create some dimension.  I then assembled the flower layers and attached the flower to the upper center portion of the card.  I stamped my sentiment and cut with one of the dies from the Tags 1 set, layered it on teal cardstock and tucked it under the flower.

 My card was topped off with a pretty bi-color bow created on my Bow-it-All V3.0 using two of the ribbons from the April Ribbon Club Assortment from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

    Bonnie this card is gorgeous! The colors together are amazing together. Love that shade of blue and your background is beautiful!!! Love that distressed look! The mehndi botanicals die is so pretty! And I always love when you use the fiber papers to make that pretty edge! Love it!!!!
