Hi friends.  It’s been a while, but I’m back today with some Kanzashi hair clips to share.  These beauties are created with 1-1/2″ Grosgrain Ribbon and 1-1/2″ Gingham Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
I had hoped to have some new videos for you showing you how I made the slightly smaller petals for the top layer along with the best ways to cut your 1-1/2″ ribbon squares, but well….. it’s summer and there just isn’t enough time in the day!

I promise to have the new videos as soon as I can, but for now, keep practicing the basic petal – I have included the original video tutorial at the end of this post.  I can’t tell you how much my petals have improved with practice.  The more you practice, the more consistent they are and the better they look.
We are getting lots of new ribbons and other products in at Really Reasonable Ribbon as well.  Watch for a new ’embellishment’ category too on the RRR site soon!  I will be offering the larger hard to find sizes of half pearl and a lot of other embellishments that I know you will LOVE!

I’m entering my kanzashi flower in the following challenges:

If you would like to purchase the cross action tweezers I use in the video, here are some links:  I used Squadron Cross Action Curved Tweezer.  The Squadron Cross Action Straight Tweezer would work as well.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  Happy crafting!
