New Sizzlin’ Summer Colors Themed Challenge at Cheery Lynn Designs

Hi friends.  This week we have a great new Sizzlin’ Summer Colors themed challenge over on the Cheery Lynn Designs Blog.  I hope you’ll head over and link up a project to share with us.

Dies are NOT just for cards!  I made a card and headband gift set this week and I embellished my headband with flowers made with the Sweet William Flower die from Cheery Lynn Designs.

Today I used several of the ribbons from the fabulous June Citrus Ribbon Club Assortment from Really Reasonable Ribbon.   This fabulous assortment contains 9 styles and a total of 18 yards of ribbon.  Perfect for all your summer crafts.  Each month you will receive a color or holiday themed assortment of ribbon.  What a fun way to build your ribbon stash.

For the background of my card, I used the brand new Quatrefoil A2 Frame 1 die, and the Just for You Oval sentiment is also new.  The beautiful flowers were created with the Sweet Christine Flower.
I made the woven ribbon headband using some of the ribbons from the June Ribbon Club Assortment and I embellished the headband with Sweet William Flowers.  If you don’t want to make the headband, you could also just purchase a pre-made headband and add the flowers to that.  For added protection, spay the flowers with a clear sealant before attaching them to the headband.

My bi-color double-loop bow was made with the Maize Taffeta Ribbon and the Tangerine Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon from the June Ribbon Club assortment.  It was made using my Bow-it-All V3.0.
