Welcome to the RRR January Blog Hop.
If you arrived here from Amber’s blog, you are on the right track. If not, why not head back to the RRR Blog and start from the beginning so you don’t miss any of the terrific projects.
This month the Really Reasonable Ribbon Monthly Ribbon Club Assortment is a great mix for Valentines Day and beyond. Great for a baby girl card, or any feminine card or whatever your ‘heart’ desires!

What a great way to build your ribbon stash and try out different ribbon styles.
I just love pink – always have. When I was a little girl I had a bedroom with pink carpet and paneling (it was the 1970’s, so yes – pink paneling!). Creating cards for Valentine’s Day in shades of pink makes my heart happy.
I also love making paper flowers and I love this new Cuties 1 flower die from Cheery Lynn Designs. What beautiful dimension.
My card is topped off with a fabulous bi-color double-loop bow which my regular blog visitors know if my favorite bow of all. I used two of the ribbons from the January Ribbon Club assortment and made the bow on my Bow-it-All V2.0.
I also ran a strip of the white checkerboard satin topped with the quatrefoil print on hot pink satin ribbon also from assortment across the middle of the card under the sentiment panel for added interest.

Since I’m getting lots of questions again about the mulberry paper (the ‘fuzzy’ white paper layer), you can view a video tutorial on how I did that HERE.
I’m entering my card in the following challenges:
Now for my Headband of the Month.
This headband is again just the basic woven ribbon headband created with two ribbons from the January Ribbon Club Assortment on a 1/2″ white plastic headband base. The difference in design is created by using three pieces of the quatrefoil on hot pink satin and one piece of white double-faced satin. (Sorry the white satin on the headband weave looks pink in my photo.) The white will be positioned in the upper left position when starting the headband weave. The bow I attached is a simple double-loop bow created on my Bow-it-All V2.0. I added a pretty 20mm pink Open Rose to the center.

as I look at your lovely card, everything about it is just so 'you'! 🙂 from the two toned double bows and flowers to the beautiful use of mulberry papers, (which I really need to pull from hibernation in my craft room!). you have such a way of putting things together to create elegance.
and your headband is as lovely as can be! 🙂
Oh my goodness! This card is sooooo beautifully composed! I love the combination of patterned papers; they play together so well! And that gorgeous two tone bow always knocks my socks off! The flowers are just divine, too! My grand girls would flip over that headband. I must learn how to make them! Fabby projects, Bonnie!
This is beautiful. Now I really need to buy some mulberry papers and lots of ribbons! Just watched your headband video and the technique is so easily explained. Thankyou for that. I have a granddaughter who loves headbands and pink so I guess I need to try and have a go at making her one. Hugs Mrs A.
