Welcome to the Cheery Lynn Designs January 2016 New Release Blog Hop.
We are so excited to introduce you to all the fabulous new dies available at Cheery Lynn Designs.

If you arrived here from Corina’s blog, you are on the right track. If not, why not head back to the Cheery Lynn Designs Blog and start from the beginning so you don’t miss any of the terrific projects.

Follow through to the end of the hop and leave a comment on the Cheery Lynn Designs Blog too for a chance to win a $20 gift certificate.

I started by creating a decorative base for my card using the new Deutschland Oval Doily and added pieces from the Deutschland Accents in the corners.  I then die cut the adorable Be Mine Teddy Bear in ivory and shaded him with with distress ink to give him some extra dimension.  I added scraps of black card stock behind the eyes and nose and pink behind the ears and the hearts on the back paws.  I then cut him out again in pink to use the center heart.  I cut the pink heart out and inserted it under the paws.  I also added a couple of pink Sweetheart Candies as well which are lightly shaded on the edges in pink.  I then created the ‘sentiment’ panel using the XOXOXO die mounted on the pierced banner surrounded by a small ivory border.  To create the fish-tail on both ends, cut your paper half way, the turn the die around matching up the holes.  Now cut the other side.
