Well, I know it’s really half over, but I kind of just noticed it’s summer.  Where does the time go?  Clearly I’m getting old.  Between magazine submissions for the wrong season and Christmas in July themes, I’m more than a little ‘corn-fused’!!  I’m happy to finally be crafting with a summer theme.

I wanted to do a card celebrating summer memories.
I’m a huge fan of a yellow/gray color combo and I have wonderful memories of picking wild daisies on the side of the road in the summer and dying the petals different colors by putting them in water with different colors of food coloring.  Did you ever do that?
I created my daisy flowers with the Shasta Daisy die from Cheery Lynn Designs.  The flower centers are made by gluing Judikins Speckles in Espresso over a white half pearl.
I added a simple double-loop bow from Lemon Delicate Stitched Satin from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  It was created with my Bow-it-All V2.0.  You can view all my Bow-it-All tutorials on my YouTube channel HERE.
My card has been entered in the following challenges:
