Hi friends.  Today I have another ‘WOW’ bow to share made with fantastic ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

This pretty bow was made using Regal Purple and Delphinium Diamond Satin Ribbon and tied up on my Bow-it-All V2.0.  I have a video tutorial for this bow which you can find on YouTube HERE.
I’ve been resisting pulling out the sewing machine because I knew it was going to open a whole can of worms with me wanting to get back to quilting, but I did it anyway.  I did a simple zig zag stitch around the perimeter of the design paper just to get warmed back up.
I created the beautiful roses in two sizes for a little added pizzazz at the bottom.  I use an old script stamp I got back in the 1990’s just to add a little look of texture to the petals and I inked the edges before assembly.
I continued the stitching theme on the inside of the card as well.  I really like the look.  I think you will continue to see stitching on my cards….
The background doily die I used is actually a square.  Yup, it’s a square.  I just measured and cut 1-1/2″ from each side and joined it together.  The bow and the flowers cover the seam, but you would likely hardly notice even if it wasn’t covered.
I like to purchase dies that I can get a lot of use out of and I’m not opposed to cutting the die cuts down and reshaping them.  Why not get double or triple-duty from them!
I’m entering my card in the following challenges:
