I can’t believe I just typed that….. Ready for Christmas?!!!??! I’m not really even ready for summer yet, but time does march on. If this Christmas is going to be the ever elusive ‘relaxing and fun’ holiday that I’ve been hoping for all my life, I’d best get planning now.
I got a little nudge in the right direction for Christmas card planning when Doris from Crafting by Designs invited me to guest design for their ‘Get Ready for Christmas’ Challenge.
I’d love for you to hop over and see the other projects from the design team and to play along. It’s never too early to get started on those Christmas cards!
I went with a pretty low key design and embellished with a beautiful bi-color bow made with white and red Delicate Stitched Satin on my Bow-it-All V2.0. I finished the center of the bow off with a pretty 10mm white Open Rose. To view a video on how I created this bow, please click HERE.
I also added a variety of Roses from Wild Orchid Crafts below the sentiment to finish off this quick and easy card.
I’m entering my card in the following challenges:
Christmas Stampin’ All Year Long #50 – Snow or Glitter (might be a stretch but there are snowflakes…)
Thanks so much for stopping by.

I would never thought of using roses on a Christmas card but you certainly proved that they look wonderful along with the other elements you added. And, of course, love the double bow. I still cannot do it, but that is okay. I feel lucky I can do a single one. Until recently I was a flop at those too! I love that scrolly sentiment too!
