Hi there.  It’s time for another fun challenge over at the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog
This time we have a Beautiful Bows Theme.
That’s like my calling card, right?  hahaha
I’ve been working quite a bit with bi-color bows lately and I LOVE the ‘wow effect’ of these bows.  I just posted a video tutorial on how to make these pretty bows using single-faced or printed ribbon yesterday.  You can view it HERE on YouTube.
The bows on my card today were made with 5/8″ Hot Pink and Sherbet Delicate Stitched Satin (on my Bow-it-All V2.0 of course) from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  This ribbon style makes things even easier since it’s double-faced, meaning it’s the same on both sides.  You can follow the same directions in the video BUT, you can do the figure eight wrap for the loops eliminating the need for the toothpicks to help gather the centers.
Here is another great tip:  If you have a bow that is pretty good, but you don’t quite love the center, add a mulberry flower.  You can glue them on or use an awl to create a hole though the center and thread the wire from the rose though the hole to secure.
This card has been entered in the following challenges:
I hope you’ll head over to the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog and play along with our challenge.  Any type of project is welcome.
Thanks for stopping by!
