Another fun and inspirational quote card today. I’m loving my new My Favorite Things stamp sets! I got some really fun Die-Namics sets too. Don’t ya love that pretty flower?
Today I’m playing along with the color challenge. This was an odd color combination for me, or maybe it’s because I didn’t have quite the right color shades available in my stash…. Whatever, I’m game to give it a try.
I think it came out pretty good. I even worked in some sequins, although I feel like they should be sewn on. They have a hole for sewing…. Whaddaya think? I glued them, but I’m still not sure I’m on board with sequins. I’ll keep trying.
Today I just added a simple double loop bow created from delphinium Delicate Stitched Satin from Really Reasonable Ribbon. Sometimes simply is all you need. Well, you say it is simple, but I think that bow is quite stunning!! It really just grabs the eye. Great job with the color combo; I really have a hard time with those challenges, but you nailed it.
