Hi there.  It’s time for another fun challenge over at the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog

This time we have a Photo Inspiration Theme and don’t forget to add ribbons or trims to your project.

Here is the inspiration photo for this challenge:

Beautiful photo is courtesy of  Aiken House and Garden Blog.

Mother’s Day is right around the corner and I don’t want to be scrambling at the last minute (like I always am – sigh…..), so I’m trying to get ahead of the game.  I decided to team up my RRR challenge card and my Cheery Lynn Challenge card and make a card I’ll need in the next couple weeks all at once.  How’s that for thinkin’!!
I went with the birdhouse and flowers theme from the inspiration photo and tried to pull in some of that beautiful purplish-pink color too.  I think the Rose Bloom Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon that I used for my bow is a close match to that gorgeous color.
I used the Alpine Flourish Doily die from Cheery Lynn Designs as a beautiful mat behind the birdhouse image.  It adds a pretty and feminine touch.
My double-layer double-loop bow was created on my Bow-it-All V2.0.  This is a ‘MUST-HAVE’ tool for anyone who loves ribbon and beautiful bows.  To view all my how-to video tutorials using the Bow-it-All, visit my YouTube Channel.
This card has been entered in the following challenges:
I hope you’ll head over to the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog and play along with our challenge.  Any type of project is welcome.
