Welcome to the RRR January Blog Hop.
If you arrived here from Amber’s blog, you are on the right track. If not, why not head back to the RRR Blog and start from the beginning so you don’t miss any of the terrific projects.
This month the Really Reasonable Ribbon Monthly Ribbon Club Assortment celebrates Valentine’s Day. I just love all the pretty pinks!
I’ve been doing a little Copic coloring again and this sweetie is a digital stamp from Whimsie Doodles.
I ran a piece of 5/8″ hot pink satin with grosgrain edge from the January Ribbon Club Assortment topped with the hot pink and shocking pink diagonal striped grosgrain around the center of the card and layered the image over that. The beautiful bow is a double-loop double-layer bow with the hot pink delicate stitched satin created on my Bow-it-All V2.0. For my Bow-it-All video tutorials, please click HERE.
That beautiful flower was made with the Shasta Daisy Strip from Cheery Lynn Designs. This is one of my favorite dies. The flowers are gorgeous and they are quick and easy to make.
I’m entering my card in the following challenges:
Clear it out challenge blog – Pinks (my pink stash item is the glittery brad which I’ve had for ages)
Sweet 7 Designs Challenge Blog – anything new – (my new is my digital image and ribbon)
Crafty Cardmakers #130 – Something Old, Something New (old is my copics and dies, new is my ribbon, paper and digital image)
613 Avenue Create – 1001 Techniques – I used Copic coloring, Die Cutting, bow making, hand made flowers
I also couldn’t resist a quick headband.
The 5/8″ pinks in this assortment create a wonderful look with this woven ribbon headband. You can view my how-to video for this headband HERE. I created this one with a 3/4″ white plastic headband.
You can easily jazz it up a bit with a beautiful loopy bow attached to an alligator clip.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. Your next stop is Karen’s fabulous blog.
I would love for you to leave a comment before you go.
