Hi everyone and Happy New Year!  I’m so excited about my invitation to be the guest designer for the Cheery Lynn Designs Blog for January and this is my very first post for them.  I’ve fallen in love with the gorgeous Cheery Lynn Designs Dies and I’m quickly building my stash.

I cut the beautiful Alpine Flourish Die in white and mounted it on a piece of grape cardstock and then on a darker purple layer and then some white mulberry paper.  That really shows it off.  That gorgeous flower is made with the Cheery Lynn Gardenia Strip.  I inked the edges with a darker purple ink to give some dimension, shaped the petals and assembled the flower.
My Thank You sentiment is from Create with TLC and the double-layer bow that finishes things off is made with Grape Plaid Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon and created with my Bow-it-All V2.0.  Want to know how that bow was made?  Visit my YouTube Channel for lots of Bow-it-All video tutorials.
I used the Mini Fanciful Flourish Left and Right dies to embellish the flower.  The flourish wasn’t quite long enough to span the bottom of my sentiment, but it was a bit longer than needed for the side.  So, I snipped a portion off on the side and added it to the bottom with a tiny bit of glue.  You can see where I did that by the arrow below.
