Hi there.  It’s time for another fun challenge over at the Really Reasonable Ribbon’s Ramblings Blog.

This time we have a Back to School Theme and don’t forget to add ribbons or trims to your project.

I used one of Heather’s fun collage sheets called Tiny Vintage Back To School along with digi sentiments from TLC Creations.  I ran a layer ribbon strip using 5/8″ Black Diamond Satin and 3/8″ Ruby Red Double-Faced Satin under the sentiment and I tied a beautiful double bow made from 7/8″ Red Gingham for the top of the card.  I lightly inked the gingham with Old Paper Distress Ink so it would go better with the kraft color cardstock.  The background is embossed with a Spellbinders Numbers and Letters embossing folder and I lightly inked it with black ink.

Here is a closeup of the gingham bow.
The inside sentiment is also from TLC Creations and it’s layered on several Spellbinder die cuts.  I also have a narrow strip of embossing using a Darice embossing folder.

This card has been entered in the following challenges:

I hope you’ll head over to the Really Reasonable Ribbon’s Ramblings Blog and play along with our challenge.  Any type of project is welcome.
Thanks for stopping by!
