Hi everyone, Bonnie here with a card today. I actually like the way this card turned out, which is not something I say much of the time. We are our own worst critics, right?
I wanted to play with one of my new Spellbinder Shapeability dies and this one is called Botanical Swirls. It’s really very pretty, isn’t it? I cut it out of some hunter green cardstock and layered it on a nice cream panel and made a little frame out of the moss green cardstock. Then I layered some 5/8″ Ivory Diamond Satin on top of some 7/8″ Hunter Grosgrain and wrapped a piece of Moss Jute String around a couple of times and tied it in a knot. Then I added my sentiment on top of that. This is a nice way to add some ribbon and still have the card remain flat enough for mailing.
Well, it’s snowing here AGAIN on the east coast. Blizzard warnings out all day today. So if you are socked in as I am today, how about entering a challenge or two? My card above would qualify for our current RRR Challenge with a theme of Monochromatic Color and Ribbon.
RRR is also sponsoring a challenge over at the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog and there are still a couple of days to enter that for a chance to win a $15 RRR Gift Certificate. Head over and take a look!
Thanks for stopping by today.

Bonnie, I love this and plan to CASE it! I have a Cricut cartridge called Ornamental Irons that I think would work perfectly for this design and I've never used it. Time to dust off the Cricut and put it to work.
