Now, I love the way this pinecone turned out, but don’t limit yourself to traditional pinecone-like color combos. I have successfully made red and green, red plaid and purple, red plaid and royal blue, and many other fun Christmas combos. No matter what colors you choose, your pinecone will be beautiful and festive on your tree!
I was going to do a tutorial for you, but after googling around a bit I realized there are TONS of tutorials out there already for this fun project. If you want to give it a try, just google Ribbon Pinecone tutorial and pick one.
We hope you’ll head over and join our new RRR Challenge or just take a look at the other samples from the DT and the entries. There will be lots of great inspiration!!
This is beautiful, and I can well tell you how much I appreciate the time you put into this. I have made well over 50 and it's been years since I have done any. I have a box with all the supplies, now I think maybe I should get them back out. Thanks for the reminder.
