Welcome to the Really Reasonable Ribbon August Blog Hop.

This month the Really Reasonable Ribbon Monthly Ribbon Club Assortment is a beautiful mix of rich Autumn colors.

The August Assortment contains 9 styles and a total of 18 yards of ribbon.

Each monthly assortment is a color or holiday themed mix of ribbon.  What a fun way to build your ribbon stash and try new ribbons.

My card today features two of the ribbon styles from the August Ribbon Club assortment and some beautiful dies from Cheery Lynn designs.  I just love creating with the rich colors of Autumn.  I even added some gold leaf to some of the leaves and to the background honeycomb die for some rich shimmery sparkle.
My beautiful bi-color double-loop bow was created on my Bow-it-All V3.0.

Kanzashi Flower Hair Clips

Hi friends.  It’s been a while, but I’m back today with some Kanzashi hair clips to share.  These beauties are created with 1-1/2″ Grosgrain Ribbon and 1-1/2″ Gingham Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
I had hoped to have some new videos for you showing you how I made the slightly smaller petals for the top layer along with the best ways to cut your 1-1/2″ ribbon squares, but well….. it’s summer and there just isn’t enough time in the day!

I promise to have the new videos as soon as I can, but for now, keep practicing the basic petal – I have included the original video tutorial at the end of this post.  I can’t tell you how much my petals have improved with practice.  The more you practice, the more consistent they are and the better they look.
We are getting lots of new ribbons and other products in at Really Reasonable Ribbon as well.  Watch for a new ’embellishment’ category too on the RRR site soon!  I will be offering the larger hard to find sizes of half pearl and a lot of other embellishments that I know you will LOVE!

I’m entering my kanzashi flower in the following challenges:
613 Avenue Create #188 – Anything Goes
Crafting by Designs – August Anything Goes
Inspiration Destination #98 – Anything Goes
TTCRD – Anything Goes

Hi friends.  This week we have a great new Back to Nature themed challenge over on the Cheery Lynn Designs Blog.  I hope you’ll head over and link up a project to share with us.

My card today features the NEW Fall Leaves 8 piece die set from Cheery Lynn Designs.  The leaves in this set have such wonderful detail.  Aren’t they gorgeous?  I created a shimmery autumn colored paper using some of the Ken Oliver Liquid Metals in Autumn Colors and then cut them out.  They are beautifully shimmery.
Cheery Lynn Dies Used:
B838 Fall Leaves Set *NEW*

PS101 Pierce Plate Large Parallel Rectangle die

My beautiful bow was created on my Bow-it-All V3.0 Tool with Old Gold and Turftan Brown Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  The ends of the word art banner are embellished with Gold Metallic String.
