This month the Really Reasonable Ribbon Monthly Ribbon Club Assortment is a fun mix of dark pinks and greens we’re calling ‘Sweet Pickle’. It’s a fun and bold color assortment which works for lots of different occasions.

If you love ribbon, the Monthly Ribbon Club is a great way to build your stash.  You get a fun new color or holiday themed assortment each month.  Such a pretty little present to treat yourself with once a month!!

Today I have an Easter Card for you using some stamps from Easter Egg Words and Bunnies set from Peachy Keen stamps and several ribbons from the RRR March Ribbon Club Assortment.

I ran a layered strip of ribbon down the middle of the card (Garden Rose Swiss Dots over Deep Sage Satin w/Grosgrain Edge), then finished it off with a big criss-cross bow made from the lightweight Rose Bloom Stitched Ribbon.  All ribbons used are from the March Ribbon Club assortment.

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Allsorts Challenge Blog- Week 197 – Springtime theme
One Stop Craft Challenge 219 – Spring

RRR ‘Spring Colors & Ribbon’ Challenge

Hi everyone. It’s time for another fun challenge over at the Really Reasonable Ribbon’s Ramblings Blog and this time the theme is ‘Anything Goes & Ribbon’.

Today I have a pretty set of Thank You cards in ‘Springy’ pastels.  This can work for a little girl’s birthday, a baby shower, or whatever else you want to use them for.  It’s always good to have a stash of Thank You cards on hand.  Might be a nice add-on gift for someone too…..

I layered my sentiment over some gorgeous ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I layered a piece of 3/8″ White Satin w/Grosgrain Edge on top of a pastel colored piece of 5/8″ Diamond Satin to match the color of each card and ran it right down the middle.  Then I added the layered sentiment on top of the ribbon.  A very simple ribbon treatment for a quick CAS card.

Why not head over to the Really Reasonable Ribbon’s Ramblings Blog and enter this fun challenge.  There is a $10 gift certificate up for grabs for one lucky random participant.  It could be you!!

Thanks for stopping by today.

RRR February Blog Hop

Welcome to the RRR February Blog Hop.
If you arrived here from Jeanne’s awesome blog, you are on the right track. If not, why not head back to the RRR Blog and start from the beginning so you don’t miss any of the terrific projects.
This month the Really Reasonable Ribbon Monthly Ribbon Club Assortment is Easter/Spring themed. I just love all the pretty Spring colors.  I just can’t wait for Spring!!

Today I have a card for you using my very favorite ribbon from the assortment – the Wisteria Diamond Satin.  It’s just such a pretty bluey-purpley color.  Swoon!!!  I’m still working on my CAS style although I’ve got some layers going on here.  Do you thinks it’s possible for me to combine my love of CAS and my love of layers?  What would I call that??  hehehe

This angle shows off the embossing a bit better.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.
