Hello friends.  Today I’m sharing a Christmas card using the adorable Merry Christmoose die from Cheery Lynn Designs and ribbon from the October Ribbon Club Assortment from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  Don’t you just LOVE this cute little guy?

I created a piece of mottled gray cardstock using the Hickory Smoke Distress Ink pad to use with the Aspen Forest frame die.  I was going for more of a white birch tree look and I was very satisfied with the results.

The adorable moose is really easy to assemble.  You cut the different pieces in the colors of your choice and then glue them together.  Easy peasy.  I went over the eyes, ear and mouth lines with a thin black marker to make them stand out a bit more.

I cut the sentiment twice and stacked it for a bit of extra thickness and dimension.

I adhered the grass strip to the bottom and tucked two legs behind and left two on top for a little more of a feeling of depth in the scene.
