Really Reasonable Ribbon August Blog Hop

Welcome to the Really Reasonable Ribbon August Blog Hop.

If you arrived here from Cheryl’s blog, you are on the right track. If not, why not head back to the RRR Blog and start from the beginning so you don’t miss any of the terrific projects.

This month the Really Reasonable Ribbon Monthly Ribbon Club Assortment is a beautiful autumn assortment of ribbons and lace.

The August Ribbon Club Assortment contains 9 styles and a total of 17 yards of ribbon and lace.  Each monthly assortment is a color or holiday themed ribbon collection.  What a fun way to build your ribbon stash and try new ribbon styles.

I just love an autumn color palette.  It’s so beautiful!  For my card today I kept things pretty easy and let some pretty design paper do quite a bit of the work for me.

The top third of the card was created using some cream card that I created using several of the tan/brown Distress Inks.  I topped that with a die cut using the Lattice 2 die from Cheery Lynn Designs.I covered the seam where the design paper and the die cut pieces meet with two of the ribbons from the August Ribbon Club Assortment.  The sentiment was added over that.  I also added some pretty feathered natural mulberry paper as my bottom layer before adhering to an A2 card base.

My pretty bi-color bow was created on my Bow-it-All V3.0 Tool using two of the ribbons from the August Ribbon Club Assortment.  I finished off the center of my bow with a pretty Antique Bronze Flower Charm.

    1. Sorry Nancy. I had the wrong link on there. I fixed it now. It is not a new video, so it’s likely one you’ve already seen anyway… 🙂

  2. Hi Bonnie,
I love your card so much! It is so pretty. That sentiment is terrific! Where did you find it? I love your bow. So gorgeous!
Your headbands are always so pretty. I was just thinking yesterday I need to learn to make them so I can send some to 2 great nieces. Edwina Brown

    1. Thanks so much Edwina. The Sentiment is a digital sentiment from Create with TLC and it was in a Grateful for Autumn set. Maybe you can find it that way. I get a lot of use from that set. Happy crafting!

  3. Your card is gorgeous! Love the charm you added to the ribbon – it just draws the eye to the gorgeous bow. Love the headband, too.

  4. gorgeous card bonnie. admire your bow a lot.
