Can you believe it’s the middle of August already? Today the design team from Graciellie Design is back with a little mid-month inspiration for you.
You should have arrived here from Arjeta’s blog. If not, head back to the Graciellie Design Blog which is the beginning of the hop.
This gorgeous Magnolia Dreams Collection from Graciellie Design includes a digital stamp set, digital paper pack and an SVG set of 5 cuts that coordinate with each other.
I used my Silhouette to cut the beautiful background design for my card in bright pink cardstock and adhered it to a piece of shimmery white card stock. I sized the sentiment from the Magnolia Dreams Digital Collection to fit in the oval die cut I selected and matted that with another oval and then a pierced stacker die. I love using digital sentiments as I can change them to whatever size I want for my project.
I wrapped 5/8″ Misty Turquoise Shimmer Satin around the top third of my main panel and topped that with 3/8″ Hot Pink Diamond Satin Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon. The sentiment panel was mounted over the ribbon with foam squares for a little dimension.
I had a few scrap pieces of digital paper that I printed from my first project (which you can view HERE) and I used that for the mat around my sentiment and to create my flower. This is a great way to use up those little scraps you don’t want to throw away.
I topped my card off with a pretty bi-color bow that I created on my Bow-it-All V3.0 using 5/8″ Turquoise and Shocking Pink Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon. The center of the bow is adorned with a pretty Heart Shape Flat Back Pearl Embellishment.

Love all your stunning layers, and you give great instruction! Thanks so much for sharing!
Gorgeous card. Love all the details in your card – layering, texture and the bow.
I really like the bright colors and your bow is very pretty. I like how you put the glossy accents on the leaves like dew drops. 🙂
Hi Bonnie!
Your card is absolutely GORGEOUS! LOVE it! The colors are fantastic and oh my, do I LOVE that flower!!! Gorgeous papers too! I would also like to apologize for not being able to visit as much as I would love to. In the past month in a half, I have lost 4 family members. In the past 3 months, since Easter Sunday (April 16th), I have lost a total of 6 family members and one close family friend. Out of those 6 family members that I lost, 4 of them were full blood brothers. All my uncles. Very sad time in our family right now and we are still trying to raise money to lay my latest uncle to rest. Today I am finally getting a chance to go through a little bit of email and I wanted to pop over and say hello. Please understand if I am slow at visiting during these next few weeks. I haven’t even begun to mourn as it’s been overwhelming and I believe that I am in shock. Anyhoo, your card is lovely as always. Thank you so much for inspiring me always and for also joining our Funday Friday challenge this week. Enjoy the day!
Hugs,
Jo
