Cheery Lynn Designs Halloween Themed Challenge

10-13-16-1

Hi friends.  This week we have a great new Halloween themed challenge over on the Cheery Lynn Designs Blog.  I hope you’ll head over and link up a project to share with us.10-13-16-2

I love the wonderful subtle texture you get by using the Large Parallel Rectangular Pierce Plate.  I use it quite a bit when a white background is just too plain.

My sentiment was cut in black and orange and layered to create the shadow effect.  I cut my pumpkins in orange, then added brown stems and backed them with yellow for a jack-o-lantern look.  I have some grass behind them.  My sentiment is up on foam tape and I shaped the bat wings a bit before adding the bats.10-13-16-3I added the boo sentiment and a scary ghost to the inside of my card.10-13-16-4

Cheery Lynn Designs Dies used:
B852 Halloween Ghost Set
B636 Trick or Treat
B594 Jack o’ Lanterns
B596 Bat Family

My bow was made on my Bow-it-All V3.0 using two styles of ribbon from the September Halloween Themed Ribbon Club Assortment from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  If you missed out on this fun assortment, it’s still available through the end of October.

  1. Cool Halloween card inside and out. I just love those pumpkins and your colors used on this card are just so perfect for this holiday. Also I love your choice of ribbons too. Speaking of ribbons, I got mine today! Yay! Thanks!
