Welcome to the RRR August Blog Hop.
If you arrived here from Amber’s blog, you are on the right track. If not, why not head back to the RRR Blog and start from the beginning so you don’t miss any of the terrific projects.
This month the Really Reasonable Ribbon Monthly Ribbon Club Assortment is filled with yummy autumn themed ribbons. I just love the beautiful colors of fall!
My card below features 3 ribbon styles from the August assortment. I made the pretty bi-color bow using my Bow-it-All V2.0. You can view a video tutorial on how to make this bow HERE.
The pretty handmade Sweet William flower (die from Cheery Lynn Designs) is a fun addition to this card. This is such a versatile flower. You can make it in any colorway to suit any holiday or theme. I have a video tutorial for this flower HERE. The flower on this card is a leftover from a CardMaker magazine submission. To see another great card I created with this flower along with a step-out tutorial, see page 40 of your Autumn 2015 CardMaker magazine issue.
I’m entering my card in the following challenges:
And here are my headbands of the month. As always, you can view all my video tutorials on my YouTube Channel. The hairbows were made on my Bow-it-All V2.0 and attached to an alligator clip. You can slip them in to the woven ribbon ont he headband and mix and match them on different headbands as you please.
The headband above was made with a 3/4″ wide plastic headband and 5/8″ wide ribbons. The headband below is a 1/2″ plastic headband and 3/8″ wide ribbon styles.
I find some really great color and print combinations by forcing myself to use ribbons from the assortment each month. Who would have thought the prints below would work so well together? I love how it came out!
Thanks so much for stopping by today. Your next stop is Karen’s fabulous blog.
I would love for you to leave a comment before you go.
