New Tickled Pink Themed Challenge on the Cheery Lynn Designs Blog

Hi friends.  This week we have a great new Tickled Pink themed challenge over on the Cheery Lynn Designs Blog.  I hope you’ll head over and link up a project to share with us.

Have I mentioned how much I love pink?!!  I’m sure I have.
The lovely background on this card is made with the Margarita Border die from Cheery Lynn Designs.  I cut the border twice with Stick-It Adhesive on the back of the cardstock.  I then matched up the design overlapping by about 1/2″.  Then I cut down the middle of the overlap to give myself two pieces that would match up perfectly when adhered to the white background paper.  If you look super-duper close you can just see where the pieces meet on the bottom under the center leaf.  But doing it this way gives such a perfectly matching join, you would never know if I didn’t tell you.  
The lovely roses were cut and shaped and then layered together to give me 3 different sizes for this piece.

My card was finished off with a bi-color double-loop bow made with Pearl Pink Diamond Satin Ribbon and Hot Pink Taffeta Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  The bow was created on my Bow-it-All V2.0.
