Hello friends and welcome to the October Graciellie Design Blog Hop. Today we are celebrating the new stamp release from Unity Stamp Company featuring beautiful images and sentiments from Graciellie Design.
You should have arrived here from Arjeta’s blog. If not, head back to the Graciellie Design Blog which is the beginning of the hop.
Be sure to comment through the hop for a chance to win one of three prize packs of three sets of stamps from Unity Stamp Company. Prize winners will be announced on October 16th.
Today I’m working with the Sending Kindness stamp set from Unity Stamp Company which includes this pretty flower image, a pear, a bee and 5 sentiments. So versatile!
I am also honored to be working with some great new tools this month from Westcott Brand. You can see the fabulous cushion grip hobby knife in my photo below (love!) along with the wonderful precision scissors. My image was a little too big for the die I selected, so I used the craft knife to cut the little piece of the stem so I could bring it over the top of the die. This way it will extend a little over the edge of the square die.
This is a photo of the supplies I pulled for the card based on the colored image, but as usual, I don’t always end up using what I started with. Does that happen to you too?
I was thinking that I would use the red and green ribbons from the October Ribbon Club Assortment from Really Reasonable Ribbon for the bow, but then when I put everything together, the card said I needed to use pink ribbon instead of red. The card was right. 🙂The detail in the images is wonderful and I just LOVE the sentiments. You can use the set for so many different projects.
My bow was created on my Bow-it-All V3.0 Tool using 5/8″ Sherbet Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon and Forest Green Taffeta Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon. The center is adorned with a pretty flower shape rhinestone.
