The September Ribbon Club Assortment contains 9 styles and a total of 18 yards of ribbon. Each monthly assortment is a color or holiday themed ribbon collection. What a fun way to build your ribbon stash and try new ribbon styles.
Yup, I’m still playing with my Distress Inks and the background paper on this card was made using a variety of Distress Inks in orange tones and yellow and greens for the oval behind the sentiment.
I’m not a big fan of spiders in every day life, but these guys are just too adorable, don’t you think?
I ran a piece of the 5/8″ Black Bold Plaid Ribbon topped with 3/8″ Halloween Bold Diagonal Stripe Grosgrain Ribbon from the assortment across the middle of the card under the sentiment panel for a little extra color.
Notice that I was still able to add mulberry paper – even to a Halloween card. I just used black mulberry paper.
Here’s a little peek at the inside of the card. Why not decorate the inside too??!!
My pretty bi-color bow was created on my Bow-it-All V3.0 Tool using two of the ribbons from the September Ribbon Club Assortment.

Now for my headband of the month:
This headband was created on a 1/2″ White Plastic Headband using the one of the 3/8″ printed satin ribbons from the September Ribbon Club Assortment. I was looking for something with a little more contrast than two prints, so I used the back of the pumpkins on black grosgrain ribbon. Sneaky, right?!

Bonnie your card and headband are delightful. The paper layering on your card with the ribbons band work so well together–love the black mulberry paper! Spider on the inside is a great touch. The chevron patterned ribbon paired with the black on your headband is fabulous. tfs both.
