Hi friends. Today I’m sharing a pretty floral birthday card featuring some pretty dies from Cheery Lynn Designs. You can never have too many birthday cards in your stash.
This colorful card has a lot of pizzazz with just a few dies. The Card Cover Maker #4 die creates a fabulous background when layered over a pretty piece of paper created with Distress Inks. I layered that up on a few more layers since I love that look, and then finished it off with a layer of wispy white mulberry paper before attaching to my 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ card base.
My tea roses were created by cutting the petals in both pink cardstock and left over purple Distress Ink cardstock from my background. I love the look of a two color rose. I shaped the petals and assembled the roses and then mounted them below the oval sentiment panel. The sentiment is a digital stamp from Graciellie Design from the Hello Gorgeous set.
I finished my card off with a pretty coordinating bi-color bow made on my Bow-it-All V3.0 tool using Rose Bloom and Regal Purple Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon. The center of my bow was adorned with a 10mm Flat Back Resin Embellishment.
