Hi everyone and welcome to my new blog! I’ve been thinking about starting my own blog for a while, so here we go.
Today I have a birthday card I made for my SIL using my favorite Diamond Satin Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon. I used sketch SSS144 from The Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge Blog.
I used the adorable image Wren – Grow a Little Love from Tiddly Inks and the birthday sentiment is from BirdsCards. The background embossed dots were made using a Cuttlebug folder and the oval cutouts are Spellbinder Nestabilities Classic Ovals. The design papers are from my scrap bin.
I’m entering my card in the following challenges:
The Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge – SSS144
All Sorts Challenge – Free and Easy
DYSU Challenge Blog – Anything Goes
Paper Pretties – PWC191 Use ribbon
Thanks so much for stopping by.

Bonnie…this is such a sweet card! Love the little touch of gingham 🙂
I really love all the layers! I'm assuming you colored with Copics but would be interested if you use one of the other brands like Promarkers. I found you through the RRR blog hop… wish you had an option to subscribe via email, which makes it easier for me to follow blogs I like. I'll have to remember to check back… I love all 3 of your cards/posts already 🙂
Hi Karen,
I did color my image with Copics. I've really not tried any of the other alcohol markers and I'm a beginner with Copics.
I plan to add a 'subscribe via email' option on my blog just as soon as I get a chance. Thanks so much for stopping by and for the kind words.
