Hi everyone. We have a fun new challenge today over at Really Reasonable Ribbon’s Ramblings. The RRR Challenge #43 theme is Pink & Brown with Ribbon. What a terrific color combo.
I decided to go ‘quick and easy’ for this one. I used a Spellbinder Classic Ovals die. I cut it out, embossed it and left the die on. I then stamped my image with Adirondak Espresso ink while the die was still on so the border would remain white. I then added several other oval layers. (I love layers!!) For the background I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder and pink textured cardstock from DCWV with a white core. I used a sanding block on the raised part to let some white show through to highlight the pretty embossing. I printed my sentiment on my computer and I finished it off with a 1-1/2″ Brown Satin Double Ruffle Ribbon base and a crinkled Pink Seam Binding double bow.
I’m also entering my card in Card Patterns Sketch #152 challenge.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you’ll join in our challenge!
