Hi there. It’s time for another fun challenge over at the Really Reasonable Ribbon’s Ramblings Blog.
This time we have a ‘One for the Boys’ Theme and don’t forget to add ribbons or trims to your project.
I’ve added a triple layer of ribbon across the middle of my card from the February Ribbon Club Assortment.
I think the key to success with ribbon on a masculine card is using it as a bit of a background, but no bows – at least no bows for the guys in my fam.
You need to show some restraint on masculine cards too (which is probably why I don’t really like making them!). I have a hard time knowing when to stop. I love lots of layers and other fun doo-dads.
Stuff men just don’t appreciate. 🙂
Here is a flat shot.
I have a little dimension under the birthday sentiment, but not much.
I think it works. Whaddaya think?
I hope you’ll head over to the Really Reasonable Ribbon’s Ramblings Blog and play along with our challenge. Any type of project is welcome.
Thanks for stopping by!

You have created a great masculine card. I really like the embossing folder you selected for the base card. Nice job.
Great Card and the colors are so pretty
Blue with brown is one of my favorite color combos…and the white embossed background gives this lovely card the feel of a drawer full of crisply starched shirts. I love it!
