Today is new release day at Cheery Lynn Designs.
The design team has come up with some fantastic projects to showcase the new dies. My card uses two gorgeous new doily sets.
I started with a 5-1/2″ square base. I made a light line down the center both ways in pencil and then two additional lines on each side 1-1/4″ from the center line. I then used the small domino shaped dies from the Scandinavian Boutique Stacker die to create the lacy background. I placed the die next to my lines in each of the 8 rectangles one at a time and ran it though my machine. The result is a beautiful lacy background. I added a piece of 5-3/8″ square white cardstock to the back so the design really pops.
I then cut some circle layers using Circle Classic Large Stacker XL4 and Circle Pierce and Cut Large LPC-4 and topped them off with the new and gorgeous Scandinavian Circle Doily. I used my flower from my Shasta Daisy Flower video tutorial in the center. The sentiment is mounted on the smallest Pierced Banners die DL303 and I dove tailed both ends. The final embellishment is a pretty double-loop bow made on my Bow-it-All V2.0 using White Glitz Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
I’m entering my card in the following challenges:

This is gorgeous, Bonnie. I need to pull out my hand-made paper and use it on a card. I often forget about it because it's stored on top of my dining room hutch (for some strange reason). Thanks for sharing your beautiful card in our challenge. I always LOVE seeing your amazing cards shared in our challenges.
Blessings to you,
Karen
