Really Reasonable Ribbon May Blog Hop

Welcome to the Really Reasonable Ribbon May Blog Hop.

If you arrived here from Cheryl’s blog, you are on the right track. If not, why not head back to the RRR Blog and start from the beginning so you don’t miss any of the terrific projects.

This month the Really Reasonable Ribbon Monthly Ribbon Club Assortment is a bold Patriotic themed red, white and blue collection of ribbon.

The May Ribbon Club Assortment contains 9 styles and a total of 18 yards of ribbon.  Each monthly assortment is a color or holiday themed ribbon collection.  What a fun way to build your ribbon stash and try new ribbon styles.

This month I created a pretty Mother’s Day card.  While the assortment is Patriotic themed, I just love this bold color combination for anything summery.  While it’s not quite summer yet, I think it’s close enough!

My card is topped off with a pretty bi-color bow created on my Bow-it-All V3.0 Tool using two of the ribbons from the May Ribbon Club Assortment from Really Reasonable Ribbon and the center was topped with a Pearl Star Embellishment.  I also ran two ribbons from the assortment across the center of the card behind the sentiment.

Robot Love

Hi firends.  Today I’m sharing  a fun card created with a couple of the new dies sets in the Let’s Go Retro Collection from Cheery Lynn Designs.

This was a fun card to create and the new die sets make it really easy to create a scene.  Just cut the pieces in the different colors of your choice and assemble.  The space background was created using dark gray cardstock and I flicked on some white paint for stars.

I Love Rock & Roll

Hi friends.  Today I’m sharing another card using one of the new dies from the Let’s Go Retro release from Cheery Lynn Designs.

Today I used the Rock & Roll Jukebox set and I kept it pretty clean and simple.  This set has pieces so that you can easily cut all the parts out in the colors of your choice and then adhere them to the base.  Easy peasy.

I added the sentiment to the upper left corner and then some simple dove-tailed ribbon banners using ribbon from the April Ribbon Club Assortment from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and happy crafting!
