Hello friends. Today I’m sharing a pretty birthday card that I created for my Mom featuring lots of beautiful dies from Cheery Lynn Designs
I find that birthday cards are the most needed cards and no matter how many I make, I always seem to be behind. This Birthday Wishes Circle Sentiment is a great addition to your die collection and it can be used over and over in different settings without looking like you are always using the same die.
My Tea Roses were created by alternating layers of solid cardstock with Distress Ink paper. I just love two tone roses. I shaped the petals before layering them for a realistic rose look.
I topped my card off with a pretty bi-color bow created on my Bow-it-All V3.0 Tool using 5/8″ Rose Bloom and Regal Purple Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon. The bow was topped off with a pretty Heart Shaped Pearl Embellishment also from RRR.
I also ran a piece of Regal Purple Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon topped with Tutti Frutti Chevron Stripe Grosgrain Ribbon across the center of the card under the sentiment.

Hello friends and welcome to the October mid-month Graciellie Design Inspiration Blog Hop. We are continuing to celebrate the new stamp release from Unity Stamp Company featuring beautiful images and sentiments from Graciellie Design.
You should have arrived here from Arjeta’s blog. If not, head back to the Graciellie Design Blog which is the beginning of the hop.
Today I’m working with the Sending Kindness stamp set from Unity Stamp Company which includes this pretty flower image, a pear, a bee and 5 sentiments. So versatile!
I am also honored to be working with some great new tools this month from Westcott Brand. You can see the wonderful scissors I’ve been working with in the photo below. Surprise bonus is that they coordinate with the color of my project! lol I’m also in love with the wonderful craft knife from Westcott Brand with the soft grip which you will see in the next photo also with the precision scissors that come with a lanyard. No more lost scissors!!I decided to give watercolors a go this time and considering I have no idea what I’m doing with watercolors, it didn’t come out half bad…
I stayed in a kinda-sorta autumn color palette and included a little burst of apple green. I like the way it turned out paired with the brown tones.
For the inside of my card, I stamped the sentiment at the top of the card and added a bee at the bottom left. I then created some layers with the brown cardstock and some pretty natural mulberry paper. Why not make the inside of the card pretty too?!
I created my pretty bi-color bow on my Bow-it-All V3.0 Tool using 5/8″ Moss/Cream Plaid Ribbon and 5/8″ Apple Green Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon. The center of the bow is adorned with a lovely Antique Vintage Flower Charm.
