Merry Christmas and a SALE from Really Reasonable Ribbon

Hello every and Merry Christmas!!  I hope you are all spending the day with family and friends and good food.

Today I’m sharing a quick ornament I made with my favorite Christmas die from Cheery Lynn Designs this year – Brad the Reindeer.  It may be too late for this year, but it’s never too soon to start planning for next year, right?

Also – ENABLER ALERT:  Head on over to the RRR Blog to pick up the promotional SALE codes that will be good now through December 31st, 2017.

This die set makes things super easy because there is a separate die for each layer and you just cut them in the colors of your choice and assemble.  And look how wonderful it comes out!

Brad the Reindeer is just toooo cute!  He is perfect for cards, gift tags or for a Christmas tree ornament which is what I did here.  I made him double sided so he’s perfect for the tree.

Here he is on my tree.  Most of my ornaments are hand-made ornaments I created through the years.  I don’t have as much time for the elaborate ornaments any more, but Brad was a quick and easy addition this year.

Wishing you and yours a wonderful Christmas and a
Happy New Year!!

Holiday Ornament Card

Hi friends.  Today I’m sharing a holiday card made with some wonderful dies from Cheery Lynn Designs along with some pretty ribbon and silver metallic cording from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

I kept things pretty simple on this card since the month of December is so hectic.  This card is really just cut and assemble.  No inking, no shaping, just cut it out and stick it on!

Cheery Lynn Dies used:
CABD22 Christmas Ornament 2

I backed some red and white cardstock with Stick It adhesive and cut the ornament using each color.  I cut a circle in red just a touch smaller than the ornament and used that as the base.  I then just peeled the backing from the Stick It adhesive and stuck the pieces on.  I added the silver cording for the hanger and the bow and the ornament is done!

I cut the Fiona’s Magic Mirror die in white and adhered that to my card base.  Then I cut a white rectangle measuring 2-1/2″ x 3-3/4″ and then stacked that on a green and red layer leaving a small border on each.  I rounded the corners on all the layers.  I backed that with white mulberry paper and then added a strip of 5/8″ Christmas Plaid Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon and then added that to the card base.  The ornament is added using foam dots for a little dimension.  I then cut the Pine Branches and adhered them to the upper left corner.  I finished it off with a snowflake embellishment.

Season’s Greetings Card

Hi friends.  Today I’m sharing another holiday card.  If you still have not started your holiday cards, it’s time!!  My card today features pretty ribbons from the November Ribbon Club Assortment from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

I went slightly non-traditional today with the color palette, but can you really go wrong with a purple and green color combo?  I think not!

My sentiment is from the Jingle Bells digital stamp set from Graciellie Design and my dies are all from Cheery Lynn Designs.
