Floral Happy Birthday to You Card

Hi there crafty friends.  Today I’m sharing a pretty pink and purple floral birthday card featuring some gorgeous dies from Cheery Lynn Designs along with ribbon from the June Ribbon Club Assortment from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

It’s no secret that I love to create three dimensional flowers, but today I’m using a die that I don’t often use.  The flowers today were created with the Judy’s Bloom die.  It makes really lovely flowers.  For the larger flower in the center, I layered petals using both sizes in the die set and the smaller flowers just use the smaller flower die.  I made the flowers with some pretty Distress Ink paper I made and the foliage is a mix of the dies from the Flourish 6 and Flourish 13 die sets.

For my background I layered the Quatrefoil A2 Frame 1 cut in white over another piece of Distress Ink paper, layered it on purple and pink cardstock and backed it with white mulberry paper.  I ran a layered piece of ribbon across the middle of my card behind the sentiment panel.

My card was topped off with a pretty bi-color bow I created on my Bow-it-All V3.0 Tool using ribbon from the June Ribbon Club Assortment from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I added a pretty Pearl Heart Shaped Embellishment to the center of the bow.

This month I created a pretty floral birthday card.  It’s no surprise that I tend to favor flowers in my creations and this month is no exception.

My card is topped off with a pretty bi-color bow created on my Bow-it-All V3.0 Tool using two of the ribbons from the June Ribbon Club Assortment from Really Reasonable Ribbon and the center was topped with a Pearl Heart Embellishment.  I also added three ribbon tabs at the bottom right side of the card to balance it out.

Decide What to Be and Go Be It

Hi everyone.  Today and I’m sharing an inspirational note card created with dies from Cheery Lynn Designs  and ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

I did something a little different today and used one of my favorite frame dies to emboss with.  Instead of putting your base plate, die, paper and then cutting mat, I did base plate, die, paper and embossing mat before the cutting mat.  It gives a pretty good embossing impression which you can see from the photos.  It was kind of hard to pick up in the photos and it looks even better in person.
I used the Ornament 9 die below my sentiment panel and rather than use the entire thing, I cut it in pieces to use as I wanted.

My card is finished off with a pretty bi-color bow that I created on my Bow-it-All V3.0 tool using ribbon from the June Ribbon Club Assortment from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
