Birthday Wishes Card

Hey ribbon lovers.  Today I have a pretty birthday card to share with you featuring some bright colors and pretty ribbon and embellishments from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

I love these bright colors for summer.  I made my background with Distress Inks and Distress Oxide Inks.  I used a stencil on the top and the bottom is just sponged and spritzed inks.

I didn’t have a lot of time to make flowers this time and this Indie Bouquet  die set from Cheery Lynn Designs has easy ‘cut and go’ flowers.  The foliage is from the Floral Bouquet Kit Die Set.  I adhered yellow 10mm Resin Pieces to the center of my flowers.

I stamped my sentiment and then added an orange layer and some white mulberry paper.  I wrapped a layered piece of ribbon consisting of 5/8″ apple green Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon and 3/8″ Citrus Chevron Grosgrain Ribbon across the middle of my card securing in the back.  I then adhered the sentiment oval on top of that ribbon band.
My bow was created on my Bow-it-All V3.0 Tool using 5/8″ Daffodil and Tangerine Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I added an 8mm White Half Pearl to the center of my bow.

Cheery Lynn Designs Lace Themed Challenge

Hi friends.  This week we have a great new Lace themed challenge over on the Cheery Lynn Designs Blog.  I hope you’ll head over and link up a project to share with us.
9-1-16-1My card today features the beautiful Daisy Lace Frame and I really wanted to make it ‘POP’.  I cut it out of a piece of marbled paper I made many years ago.  I kept the card really simple because I didn’t want to cover up any more of the lovely lace background.

9-1-16-3My beautiful bow was made on my Bow-it-All V3.0 using Tropic and Turquoise Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon.  I also ran a piece of Theresa White Crochet Lace across the middle under the sentiment panel.
For a video tutorial on how to create this beautiful bow, please click HERE.
Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I hope you’ll head on over to the Cheery Lynn Designs Blog and play along with our challenge for a chance to win a $20 gift certificate to the Cheery Lynn Designs Store.

Birthday Wishes Card

Hi friends.  Today I’m sharing a pretty pink and brown birthday card created with some of my favorite Cheery Lynn Designs dies and beautiful ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
8-27-16-1This beautiful Quadrafoil Square Doily is up there in my top all time favorites list.  Isn’t it gorgeous?!

You know I’m also in love with making beautiful handmade roses and today I used the wonderful Medium Tea Rose die.  I cut the layers in brown and tan and I inked the tan layer with an old script background stamp for texture and also inked the edges.  I then shaped the layers and assembled.
