Hi there ribbon lovers. Today I have a sympathy card to share. I find sympathy cards to be difficult to make and I like to keep them kind of simple. I think this one fits the bill. I topped the card off with a pretty bow I made with ribbon and string from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
I was shooting for a CAS look, and for me this is pretty ‘clean and simple’. I did use multiple layers but I kept a clean background with the pretty leaf inclusion paper. I stamped the sentiments and butterflies right on this artist paper.
I’m entering my card in the following challenges:
613 Avenue Create #189 – Anything Goes

Amazing details. I love your use of color and mulberry paper. Thanks so much for playing Simon Says Stamp Wednesday “Anything Goes” Challenge! Beautiful colors and design. Well done!
Hi Bonnie! What a gorgeous card for such a sad occasion. However I am sure it will be well appreciated by the recipient. The colors are so subtle and I love the bow! Perfect! Beautifully done! Thank you for playing along with us at Retro Rubber! (ps – we have a limit of no more than 10 challenges to be considered for a top pick position so although we cannot consider your card for that I am happy that you played along and hope you continue to do so in the future.)
Sorry about that Jane. You can delete my entry. I missed that stipulation. There is no code on the Paper Playful listing about how many challenges you can enter. You may want to add that on there. Thanks for stopping by and for your lovely comment.
Hi Bonnie! We don’t delete any entries because if you go to the trouble to find us, we would like you to remain! I didn’t realize that PP did that and I will contact them and let them know! Thank you for that tip!!!
