Greetings from the 1970’s!  Today we are going retro with Cheery Lynn Designs!
One of the new dies in the October release from Cheery Lynn Designs is this fun retro VW bus.  I had a great piece of purple and blue tie-dye looking paper I created a while back with Color Burst pigment powders from Ken Oliver and I knew it was perfect for this project.  I applied a piece of Stick It Adhesive to the back of a piece of black cardstock and then cut out the Groovy Bus.  Then I fussy cut the dyed paper so it would fit behind the lower part of the die cut.  I added small pieces of yellow for the headlights and grey for the hubcaps and license plate and then added the tie-dye paper.  I love the way it came out.  I created a road with grey cardstock and put a few blades of grass on either side of the van.
I finished it off with a fun bi-color bow created on my Bow-it-All V2.0 with Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon and a fun peace sign button I found in my stash.
